A bit about The Press Gang:
The Press Gang matches the ferocious squeezebox-fiddle duo of Junior Stevens and Alden Robinson with Owen Marshall’s acclaimed accompaniment. The result is a sweet, driving sound that is already thrilling fans.
Their self-titled debut album, released in the spring of 2010, features energetic arrangements of Irish and American tunes. From the touchstone melodies of Irish traditional music to the Appalachian folk music that descended from them, to modern compositions by the band themselves, the album breathes an uncommon passion into centuries of musical heritage.
