HEATHER HARDY writes and performs songs about the things that matter most to her: nature, society, family, and love. Heather blends her unique voice with rich melodies, often highlighting mouth trumpet instrumentals in her songs. This summer she placed second in the New England Songwriting contest at the Ossipee Folk Festival for the song “Hospice and Cleavage.” She lives in midcoast Maine, and is co-organizer of the Round Top Coffee House open mic in Damariscotta.
NANCY SFERRA lives and works in midcoast Maine and has been writing songs for the better part of a decade after re-igniting her passion for guitar. She started playing local open mics in 2000 as a way to meet local musicians following a relocation from southern Maine, only to discover that she really enjoyed the process of crafting, performing, and recording her music. Her songs are observations of human nature, sometimes funny and sometimes serious, but always focusing on the story. A finalist in the 2012 New England Songwriting Contest, she is currently working on her first CD. http://www.nancysferra.com/
