Amanda Roswick

DownBeat Award-Winning jazz vocalist and New England native Amanda Roswick currently teaches vocal jazz at the University of Southern Maine. She received her BM in Music Education from the University of New Hampshire before moving cross-country to pursue an MM in Jazz Studies from the University of Northern Colorado. During her time at UNC, she participated in master classes with legendary vocalists Carmen Bradford and Karrin Allyson, and performed with the DownBeat Award-Winning Vocal Lab Ensemble. With the group, she performed a concert with Bobby McFerrin and Gimme 5, and opened for Take 6 at the 2019 UNC Jazz Fest. Amanda’s notable teachers include Julia Dollison and Kerry Marsh of Vertical Voices, Brennan Baglio of Groove for Thought, and body mapping experts Melissa Malde and Jenni Cook. Amanda continues to teach and perform in the New England area.

Because we don’t charge a cover and 100% of your donations go to the musicians we respectfully ask that each person make a ONE PURCHASE MINIMUM of food/beverage to help support the room. All seats are first come, first served (feel free to share a table). We do not take reservations.
