Andrew Bailie

Thursday - January, 04 @ 9:00pm

Andrew Bailie is an American songwriter singer and guitarist interweaving intricate songs with raw emotion, powerful guitar work and an unmistakable soaring voice. Drawing elements from funk soul rock and electronic traditions, Bailie speckles his songwriting with his own experiences hopes fears and trepidations, touching on familiar human themes that can sometimes give us pause and fill us with longing and other times set us ablaze.

After extensive touring across much of the US and Europe with legendary gospel and funk organist Cory Henry (Snarky Puppy/Funk Apostles), Andrew relocated from Brooklyn NY to the deep woods of northwestern Maine where he is now based. He also has roots in Ohio and Nebraska where he made a name for himself in his early career (Jazzwholes/It's True). Andrew has also worked with platinum recording artist Aloe Blacc, members of Snarky Puppy, Ms. Lauryn Hill, and has shared the stage with Res, Talib Kweli and Lalah Hathaway.

Look for the debut full length release “Wasteland” available everywhere soon.
