Craig Hendricks

Thursday - June, 21 @ 5:00pm

Born to moderately normal parents in middle Georgia, Craig was raised on country and cane syrup. However, Craig's life was rocked at a young age when his maternal grandfather introduced him to the guitar and bluegrass music.

After years of songwriting and playing yo-yo with the guitar, harmonica, and various other instruments and music genres (none of which he had mastered) Craig decided to take another shot at that slippery devil called music!

After years of playing in church (and loving it), for friends, family, and some festivals, Craig began to enter singer songwriter contests while composing and compiling his own songs (and a few covers) for a deeper venture into the music world.

In 2012, Craig's song I Will(I Do) made it to the semifinals of the Augusta Chronicle/Amped contest. 2013 saw another original, "Leaving me and Dixie" made the finals in a Nashville based lyric competition. Craig's originals continue to be competitive in lyric and song competitions as his personal catalog continues to grow.
Over the last few years, Craig has become a crowd favorite, entertaining at local festivals and events while stretching out into venues from Savannah, Georgia to  Rangeley, Maine back to Augusta,GA and back to Fort Payne, Alabama...and most everywhere between. In addition, Craig has continued to write and prepare originals which he loves to share with crowds from Coffee shops to Major Festivals. Craig has had the honor of performing and building friendships with some amazingly talented folks.

Presently we are preparing to record a debut CD/EP and will be heading to Nashville and other distant fictional lands of wonder in order to pitch songs and an occasionally embellished story or two! Oh, BTW....we will be lining up some major jams and performances in the very near future!
