Happy Hour with Greg Klein

Thursday - March, 07 @ 5:00pm

As the front man of the Portland based Dark Hollow Bottling Company (DHBC) for the past 15 years, Greg Klein has been spinning tales from York to Aroostook County and everywhere in between.  In addition to the three DHBC albums Klein put out his first solo album, Watching in my Mind” in 2014 and the album “Broken Angel” with The Worrisome Hearts in 2015.  Klein has shown versatility with his songwriting with songs ranging from bluegrass to punkgrass and from pop rock to folk rock. The common thread in his music are his lyrics, weaving tales of loss, love politics and murder.  His newest solo record, Dead Man’s Motto, coming out in May is his most ambitious album yet.  Relying on some of his favorite musicians from the Portland music scene it is an ambitious 14 song record that took over a year to record.  Look for him it all corners of Maine supporting Dead Man's Motto in 2019

Just like all of our shows, musicians play for your generous donations!  **support the music!**
