Katie Oberholtzer Quintet featuring Chris Oberholtzer, Chris Humphry, Sam Sherry and Brad Chiehomski.
Katie Oberholtzer is a second-year graduate student at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in jazz vocal performance. Currently, Katie can be heard performing with the Downbeat award-winning jazz vocal group, Extensions. In 2021 Katie received two Downbeat Awards in the 44th Annual Student Music Awards. She is fortunate to have won a Best Vocal Jazz Soloist award, as well as a Best Blues, Pop, Rock Group award for her performance with the Frost SOM’s, V.Tet.
Chris Oberholtzer maintains a busy schedule as a freelance trombonist. He has performed throughout the country and abroad with groups including the Artie Shaw Orchestra, the Smithsonian Masterworks Jazz Orchestra, Tony Bennett, Herb Pomeroy, Dick Johnson, Bucky Pizzarelli, Roberta Flack and the Temptations.
Chris Humphry has worked with some of New England's finest instrumentalists and vocalists. He has been dubbed an "outstanding talent" (Sheila Jordan) and "quite a creative force" (Roberta Davis) by critics and performers who have heard his work. He has performed at Blue Note Jazz Clubs in New York, Tokyo, Jakarta, and Fukuoka, Japan.
Bassist, Sam Sherry has played concerts on both coasts and in eight countries. He has performed and recorded with jazz notables including Jerry Bergonzi, Curtis Fuller, Jimmy Heath, Jim Pugh and New England’s Portland Jazz Orchestra.
A performer at heart, Brad is busy playing drums with local, regional and national artists in the greater New England Area. He has appeared on stage with jazz greats such as Clark Terry, Mel Torme, Bob Mintzer, the New York Voices, as well as performing for President Bush and the first family just to name a few.

Because we don’t charge a cover and 100% of your donations go to the musicians we respectfully ask that each person make a ONE PURCHASE MINIMUM of food/beverage to help support the room. All seats are first come, first served (feel free to share a table). We do not take reservations.
