Out of the Blue Livestream Series with Titus Abbott

Saturday - December, 05 @ 7:00pm

Thank you for joining OUT OF THE BLUE featuring Titus Abbott!

Titus Abbott, saxophonist/clarinetist/composer, has been playing at Blue regularly since 2007. Titus has presented his ensemble The Titus Abbott Collective in many shades and colors. These performances included wide ranging collaborations with stellar talent including pianists Mike Effenberger, Curtis Clark and Kafari, drummers Michael Sarin, RJ Miller, Luther Gray, Steve Grover, John Mettam and Jacob Forbes and bassists Jim Lyden, Rob Gerry, Scott Kiefner and Ross Gallagher and the inimitable guitarist Peter Herman. For over three years the bimonthly second Saturday 8 PM spot has been an exciting night to be at Blue’s regular Saturday Jazz offerings.

On December 5, 2020 Blue presents a live stream where Titus will be performing live and sharing some recorded tracks while discussing the 15 year history of Blue and Jazz in Portland with Blue’s owner Terez Fraser.
