Rob Wolfe Trio

Saturday - March, 23 @ 8:00pm

The Rob Wolfe Trio is a group of three of New Hampshire's most exciting improvising musicians. Working from a book of original music and jazz standards this group conjures the dynamic trio interplay of bands from the 50s and 60s - groups like those led by Bill Evans and Ahmad Jamal - while channeling soundscapes comparable to modern guitar figures like Kurt Rosenwinkel and Pat Metheny.

Rob Wolfe is an ambitious jazz guitarist and passionate music educator from New Hampshire. He is a Berklee College of Music alum with a deep love for performing and teaching. Rob is the resident guitarist at Fratellos Restaurant in Manchester, NH, performing Brazilian and American music on guitar Monday nights year round. His band, the Rob Wolfe Trio, performs throughout New Hampshire.

Rob has given performances all across the United States in large theaters, outdoor festivals, intimate cafes, restaurants, at weddings, and art galleries. He is the music teacher at Green Valley School, a Montessori for children ages 3 to 14. His private students range in age from 6 years old to 72 years young. In 2011 he was awarded the Berklee Achievement Scholarship.
