Sara Trunzo is a singer-songwriter and food system organizer from Waldo County, ME. Her debut EP, Thanks Birdie, came out in 2017, followed by the LP, Dirigo Attitude, which reached #22 on the Folk Alliance International chart in 2019. The lead single “Food and Medicine” reached #3 on the FAI chart and won 1st prize at 2018 Maine Songwriters Association contest. Her third record, Cabin Fever Dream, will be released September 24, 2021. She is a co-founder of Veggies For All food bank farm and Waldo County Bounty food security campaign. She currently lives aboard a sailboat in Penobscot Bay.
A coal miner’s daughter, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter from Eastern Kentucky, Tiffany Williams lives in Nashville, where she writes songs and fiction. She is the recipient of the 2011 Jean Ritchie Fellowship for Appalachian Writing and the 2017 Denny C. Plattner Award for fiction, and she was recently named a finalist in the 2021 Kerrville New Folk songwriting competition.
