"Savoir Faire is the creation of Sarah Fard, Boston based jazz guitarist and singer. Honing her craft as a guitarist while studying music education at the University of New Hampshire, Sarah started to delve into the recordings of jazz greats Joe Pass, Ella Fitzgerald, and Louis Armstrong. Sarah found her voice performing sets of such vintage classics for years before evolving into her own with her original music, taking the stage as Savoir Faire. Described as jazz noir, Savoir Faire presents songs with lyrics to contemplate, guitar riffs to empower, and a vintage heart. Her music is armed with a love for nostalgia and a drive for social change, stemming from her role as a music educator in the Boston area. Savoir Faire will be performing a blend of originals, modern covers, and classic jazz at Blue. She is hoping to record a selection of her originals this year."
