Songwriter's Circle on a rainy Monday night.

Returning local talent, Eric Bettencourt, is traveling through town on tour and has invited friends, Will Mallett and Pat Byrne, to join him on stage at Blue for a delightful two hour show sharing original music to an intimate audience. It's going to be a healing treat for the soul.

Genre mashing songwriter based in South Austin, TX and Portland, ME.

Over the years he has won a few songwriting accolades; the most recent of which was being a Finalist in the WildFlower songwriting contest held in Dallas, TX in May 2018. Aside from this his most notable award was being a Finalist in The Kerrville New Folk Songwriter Contest in 2013 along with Adrianne Lenker. Now of the world-renowned indie-rock band, Big Thief.


Known primarily as a leading member of The Mallet Brothers Band, along with his brother Luke, Will is a talented songwriter in his own right.


An Irish singer-songwriter, Pat Byrne has come a long way since his first deal with Universal. In late 2017, Byrne began his migration to Austin, Texas. Immersed in the Texas music scene, Pat penned several new songs and released the "Rituals" LP in October 2018. In 2019, Pat took the US by storm, with breakout performances at the 30A Festival, SXSW, Kerrville Folk Festival and the Americana Festival.
