The Elephant in the Room with Spencer is a new web/TV show that focuses on humor, music, interviews and socially conscious escapism. The live tapings at Blue will serve as the backbone of the final edited show. Attendees will be treated to compelling interview guests, musical performances and sketches as well as interactive conversations and games with host and show-runner Spencer Albee and house-band Micromassé. In short, The Elephant in the Room is a fun show that’s made for fun, so it’ll be fun.

Developed by Spencer with Jackie Lovell, Krister Rollins, Adam Flaherty and Peter Dugas with imagery by Liz Long.

Spencer Albee, a staple of the Portland music scene since 1995, has toured internationally, worked with artists ranging from David Bowie to De La Soul with his bands Rustic Overtones and AS FAST AS, and has been the leader of Spencer and The Walrus (formerly BEATLES NIGHT) for 16 years which now enjoys an annual three-night Thanksgiving residency at State Theatre. The Elephant in the room with Spencer Albee is the next step in Spencer’s evolution as an entertainer, and you’re invited along for the ride. Seating is extremely limited, so act fast.
